Earlier this week the Insane Clown Posse took to their Twitter to hint at a large announcement that they were going to drop today during their seminar at The 2012 Gathering of the Juggalos. Violent J had this to say, “We got a huge announcement to make at 3PM Friday from the ICP seminar. Its probably the biggest announcement of our career. Yes we’re nervous ”

The Insane Clown Posse seminar has hit the planet and the Juggalo world won’t be the same! Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have declared that they are suing the Federal Bureau of Investigations. ICP VS. FBI! In case you’re not sure what’s happening, here’s the rundown. In the 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment List the Juggalos were declared a gang that ranks with Crips, Bloods, and The Latin Kings. Because of this the Insane Clown Posse have decided to use whatever means necessary to bring justice for the Juggalos and Juggalettes worldwide who are in no way, shape, or form a gang.

When Violent J spoke to vice.com for a full article on the subject he had this to say about the impending legal battle, “ICP is going to do something huge for our fans, and the world. We’re suing the FBI to be taken off their list. They’re trying to kill our band, and we have to fight back. Let’s get this straight,” he continued, “a Juggalo is not a gang member. Consider a Juggalo that, 15 years ago, got a hatchet man tattoo or something. Now they’ve got a family, they’re working in real estate or something, and they’re driving home and get a speeding ticket. Next thing you know, he’s in the gang file, and that will be taken into consideration in any trial. Suddenly, it ain’t just somebody who fucked up, it’s a gang member who fucked up, and they’re getting a heavier sentence.”

While ICP have promised to do all they can to clear the names of the Juggalos and Juggalettes, YOU can help out and be heard!
