Our homie and Killjoy Club member Koopsta has crossed over into Shangri-La. We will never forget him, his freshness as a person or musician, or how much he contributed to the world of rap. Our hearts are broken and our deepest sympathies go out to his family. We love you, bro. We'll see you again someday.
Last night's near-capacity crowd at the Electric Factory in Philly will go down as one of the most magical shows ICP has ever performed. The show was dedicated to the memory of the late Philly Juggalo Cannibal, who laid down his life last month while protecting a mother and her child from a knife-wielding mugger in Wilmington, DE. Cannibal's mom was present at last night's show and Faygo Luvers posted a DEVASTATING recap of the Juggalo family love that went down last night in Philly. Juggalos, we got a horrible phone call from DJ Paul this morning, letting us know that our homie and member of the Killjoy Club/Three 6 Mafia/Da Mafia 6ix Koopsta is in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. Right now we’re waiting to hear more news but from what we can tell, it’s not looking good for our friend and band mate. After the death of Da Mafia 6ix member Lord Infamous two years ago, we are thoroughly shocked numb by this turn of events. Please pray and send positive karma towards Koopsta and his family during this difficult time. If he passes into Shangri-La, we want him to be accompanied by lots and lots of Juggalo family love. Peace, Koopsta. Our prayers are with you.
